Association (BIA)
The California Building Industry Association (CBIA) is the voice
of housing in California. CBIA is the recognized and respected
trade association whose nearly 6,000 member companies represent
more than 500,000 homebuilders, industry professionals, and employees.
BOMA San Diego
Founded in 1967, BOMA San Diego is the largest local professional
association devoted exclusively to the office building industry.
Members of San Diego BOMA represent all facets of the office building
industry and include property managers, facility managers, owners,
asset managers, engineers and leasing brokers.
The Burnham
Institute
The Burnham Institute is a freestanding, independent biomedical
research campus. It was organized as a California non-profit public
benefit corporation in 1976. The Institute supports scientists
in their endeavor to understand the basic biological processes
of disease. Each discovery at The Institute becomes part of the
pool of information upon which new cures and therapies are developed.
Campanile Foundation
San Diego State University's new philanthropic organization, The
Campanile Foundation, will cultivate and manage private gifts
and philanthropy to support the academic mission of California's
second-largest university.
Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM)
As economies throughout the world are adjusting to the formation
of new markets and increased free trade opportunities, the role
of the commercial real estate professional is more important than
ever. A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized
professional in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset
management, valuation, and investment analysis. As an experienced
expert, a CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real
estate owner, investor and user.

U.C.S.D. Connect
Created as an interactive, community-based organization in 1985,
CONNECT is the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Program
in Technology and Entrepreneurship.By connecting entrepreneurs with
resources and business service providers with new technologies and
business opportunities, UCSD CONNECT acts as a catalyst for the
success of various emerging technology industries, as well as the
San Diego community.
Downtown San Diego
Partnership
The Downtown San Diego Partnership is a privately funded 501(c)(6)
business organization. Their members are companies and individuals
committed to strengthening the business environment of Downtown
San Diego. The Partnership was formed in 1993 by the merger of
two Downtown business organizations: San Diego Downtown Association
/ Central City Association (formed in 1952), and San Diegans,
Inc. (formed in 1958).
Financial Executives
International (FEI)
Formed in 1934, FEI today speaks for more than 14,000 financial
executives. These decision-makers, drawn currently from 8,000
companies, represent a broad cross-section of corporate America.

Chamber of Commerce
The San Diego French-American Chamber of Commerce (SDFACC), a
California non-profit organization, is part of the Paris-based
Chambre de Commerce Franco-Americaine and a member of the New
York-based French-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States,
which encompasses a network of 23 Chapters throughout the U.S.
The Objective of the San Diego French-American Chamber of Commerce
is to foster business contacts and serve as a networking tool
for local French speaking AND American business people.
International Council
of Shopping Centers (ICSC)
The International Council of Shopping Centers is the global trade
association of the shopping center industry. Its 39,000 members
in the U.S., Canada and more than 75 other countries include shopping
center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors,
lenders, retailers and other professionals, as well as academics
and public officials.
Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) is a source
for education and professional recognition for real estate managers
and management organizations. As the nation's leading resource
in real estate management, they provide training, information,
research, analysis and practical advice for professionals managing
all types of income-producing real estate at all career levels.
International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is
the premier professional association for facility management.
Representing the largest community of FM professionals worldwide,
IFMA membership comprises 18,000 facility professionals. Their members have a voice in 130 chapters and 13 councils
in 67 different countries. Globally, IFMA spots trends, conducts
research, provides educational programs and assists corporate
and organizational facility managers in developing strategies
to manage human, facility and real estate resources.
LEAD San Diego
LEAD San Diego Inc. is an educational nonprofit organization designed
to provide an issue-oriented and personal-skill-development community
leadership program to the adults of the San Diego region.
MIT Enterprise Forum
The MIT Enterprise Forum promotes the formation and growth of
innovative and technologically-oriented companies through a series
of specialized executive education programs. Founded in 1978,
the MIT Enterprise Forum operates through a network of 24 chapters
in the U.S. and overseas. Member chapters are formed around a
core group of MIT graduates.
NACORE International
NACORE International is the premier organization for business
leaders engaged in the strategic management of real estate for
major corporations worldwide.
National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP)
NAIOP is a national association with 9,000+ members and an extensive
network of 46 chapters that represent the interests of developers
and owners of industrial, office and related commercial real estate
throughout North America. NAIOP provides communication, networking
and business opportunities for all real estate related professionals;
provides a forum for continuing education; and promotes effective
public policy, through its grassroots network, to create, protect
and enhance property values.
Otay Mesa Chamber
of Commerce
San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)
SANDAG consists of the 18 cities and county government, which serves as the
forum for regional decision-making. The Association builds consensus,
develops strategic plans, obtains and allocates resources and provides
information on a broad range of topics pertinent to the region's
quality of life.
San Diego BioCommerce Association (BIOCOM)
BIOCOM/San Diego is the regional association for biotechnology,
medical device and bio-agriculture companies in San Diego County.
BIOCOM includes a significant service company sector, including
finance, legal, architecture, marketing, insurance and other companies
specializing in business with the life science industry. BIOCOM
is actively engaged in ensuring that the life science industry
remains a strong and growing part of the region's economy. BIOCOM
proactively addresses significant business and legislative issues,
educates the general public, and develops programs to help these
companies operate efficiently and economically.

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing
broad-based economic value for its members and the international
region.
San Diego Economic Development Corporation (EDC)
The San Diego Regional EDC serves as the region's primary catalyst
for a competitive regional economy, taking focused actions to
promote an increased standard of living and a high quality of
life. The organization views the San Diego region as an international center of global
competitiveness, with a diversified, technology-based, high-performance
economy positioned to achieve sustained economic prosperity and
opportunity for its residents.
San Diego Software Industry Council (SDSIC)
The Council exists to foster and support the entrepreneurial spirit
within the software industry in San Diego, by providing an organized
forum for the exchange of ideas, sharing of resources and promotion
of industry goals. The Council's objectives include fostering
communications and networking opportunities among its members,
creating and maintaining a link between the software industry
and local educational institutions, and promoting a mutually beneficial
dialog between San Diego's software industry and local government.
These objectives are accomplished through events, presentations,
roundtables and committees organized and sponsored by the Council.
San Diego Telecom Council (SDTC)
The San Diego Telecom Council is focused on developing and cultivating
awareness of the region's telecom and information industry, as
well as its unique environment for entrepreneurs, by providing
a forum for exchanging industry knowledge and promoting local
telecom industry goals.
San Diego Venture Group
Founded in 1986, the SDVG is a non-profit organization designed
to bring together people in San Diego who are interested in new
enterprise and the process of creating it. Their mission is to
provide a networking forum for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists
and advisors in an informal atmosphere where human expertise can
foster new ventures. They are comprised of professionals with
bright ideas to share and the practical skills required to implement
these ideas.

in 1972 to promote the educational and research purposes of UCSD.
Governed by an independent board of directors, the Foundation

and residential real property, trusts, and cash.
